These Stuffed Green Peppers are quick and nutrious meal to prepare when you are running short on things to make for dinner. They are an excellent choice if you want to prep them before you go to them and want to just put something in the oven when you get home. These peppers come out overflowing with flavor and present well if you have company over. These are exactly what we are making tonight!!

  • 4 Large Green Peppers
  • 1 Cup Cooked Rice
  • 1 Onion Finely Minced
  • Pinch of Salt
  • 1 lb Ground Chuck
  • 1 Can Tomato Soup
  • ½ Soup Can Water
  • ¼ Tsp Sweet Basil
  1. Parboil green peppers in salted water about 5 minutes
  2. Saute Onion in butter until golden
  3. Mix onions, rice, salt, pepper with meat
  4. Stuff mixture into green peppers
  5. Place in casserole dish.
  6. Thin soup with water, add basil, pour over peppers in casserole dish
  7. Cover, bake in 350 degrees oven 45 minutes
  8. Uncover, baster, cook 15 minutes more
  9. Bast again after 15 minutes is up
