THE Italian Meat Sauce Recipe

This is an amazing recipe that is enjoyed best with a glass of wine 6-8 of your closest friends or family members and a warm summer night! Make sure you have enough wine!

Ingredients
  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 Cup Chopped Onion
  • 2 Cloves Garlice, minced
  • 10 Jersey Tomatoes, cut up and peeled
  • 1 6 Oz can tomato paste
  • ¼ Cup snipped parsley
  • 1 Tbs brown sugar
  • 1½ Tsp ground oregano
  • ½ Tsp salt
  • ½ Tsp Accent
  • ¼ Tsp sweet basil
  • 1 Bay leaf
Instructions
  1. In large saucepan or Dutch oven combine meat, onion and garlic.
  2. Brown Meat Lightly.
  3. Drain off excess fat.
  4. Add 2 cups water and the remaining ingredients.
  5. Simmer, uncovered, 3 hours, or until sauce is thickened.
  6. Stir occasionally
  7. Remove bay leaf
  8. Serve over hot, cooked spaghetti,
  9. Pass bowl of shredded parmesan cheese
